How strong is the drop protection?
The corners are thicker than the sides and the edges are raised around the camera and screen. It is built for everyday drops from waist height, not for construction sites.
Will the ring make MagSafe weaker?
No. The ring is built around the magnets, not over them. Chargers, wallets, power banks and car mounts hold the same as on a plain MagSafe case.
Does the clear back go yellow?
It is coated against yellowing and scratches. That is the main thing cheap clear cases get wrong, and the thing this case is built to fix.
Will the stand loosen over time?
The hinge is steel and the ring is metal. It holds the angle you set and folds flat when you are done.
Does the stand make the phone heavy?
The ring adds a little weight compared with a plain clear case. Most people find the grip worth it, especially on a Pro Max.
Does it work with Camera Control on the 17 and 18 Pro?
Yes. The Camera Control area is cut out, so the touch surface stays usable.
